Refund policy

At Alankiraa, every product is carefully crafted and inspected before dispatch. As our products are handwoven and handmade, slight variations in weave, texture, and colour are a natural part of their uniqueness and are not considered defects.

 

Returns:

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • The product received is damaged during transit.
  • The wrong product was delivered.
  • The product has a significant manufacturing defect.

 

To be eligible for a return:

  • A return request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact.
  • Customers must provide a clear unboxing video and photographs showing the issue.
  • Proof of purchase or order confirmation must be provided.
  • To initiate a return, please contact us at alankiraabyvidya@gmail.com with your order details and supporting images/videos.
  • Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

 

Store Credit (Coupon Code):

Once the returned item is received and inspected, and the return is approved, a store credit coupon code equivalent to the product value will be issued.

  • Store credit will be shared via email within 3–5 business days of approval.
  • The coupon can be used on any future purchase from Alankiraa.
  • Store credit is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Coupon codes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

 

Exchanges:

If you have received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will offer either:

  • A replacement product (subject to availability), or Store credit in the form of a coupon code.

 

Colour Variation:

Please note that slight colour variations may occur due to:

  • Screen brightness and display settings
  • Photography lighting conditions
  • Natural variations in yarn dyeing and handloom production

A variation of up to 10% in colour appearance is considered normal and is not eligible for return or exchange.

 

Handloom Characteristics:

  • Handwoven textiles may naturally feature:
  • Minor irregularities in weave
  • Slight variations in texture

Small differences in motifs, borders, or colour tones

These characteristics are inherent to authentic handloom products and are not considered defects.

 

Non-Returnable Items:

Returns or exchanges will not be accepted for:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Incorrect product selection by the customer
  • Minor colour variations
  • Handloom irregularities that are part of the weaving process
  • Products that have been used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • Sale, clearance, or discounted items
  • Gift cards and store credit purchases
  • Shipping Charges
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect product.
